BROADLEAF EVERGREEN GARDENS

Broadleaf evergreen trees and shrubs provide much-needed winter color in cold climates. Broadleaf evergreens provide a few key advantages over coniferous evergreens. Broadleaf evergreens offer superior disease resistance, bag-worm resistance, bright green, red or purple winter color, plenty of cold hardiness, and in many cases flowers and berries. Many broad-leaf evergreens can be rejuvenated (pruned way back) after an ice storm, winter kill or from years of overgrowth. Unlike conifers, These plants have dormant buds allowing for regrowth.
